The Pardon, a gift to give

Dear God,

help me today, as I mother and friend and wife,
to not fail.

And when I do, thank you for the pardon you give me every time I mess up.
Freshly new from your washing grace--forgiven and rebuilt,
please give me the wisdom and compassion
to forbear with others when they fall down,
remembering the me that is daily
picked up,
brushed off,
and loved by You.

Amen

That's beautiful Jen! And I love the picture! What a perfect illustration.

After I wrote this, I browsed through old photos to see if anything would illustrate it well...I discovered this photo from my Costa Rica album. It was a bridge which crumbled while a big truck was still on top. Everyone was safe, if I recall right, but when they rebuilt the bridge, they left the other one...strange, but such a wonder to see the old and new side by side!

Amen. Beautiful words. I, too, am so very thankful that He gently picks me up, and by His grace washes me clean day by day.

Thanks for visiting me at Love Living Simply :) .

Many Blessings,
Catherine :)
